Who ever made the rule that you have to go to college to be successful? I mean, half the kids that go drop out or spend 2 extra years trying to figure out a major. I feel that a college education is meant for those who Need it for a desired career or path, not for those who just think its a good idea and need to “find themselves.” Don’t think I’m trying to bash going to college or anything, I’m just trying to figure out why its a necessity for every American. For many college grads, it leaves them with a pile of bills and a descent job, maybe. For others, it is exactly where they need to be to get to where they want to go. So if you’re willing to spend thousands of dollars on an education, not to mention 4 or more years, make sure you’re investing all that into a specific goal. And make sure you choose a major not in the category of partying (too much) and failing.
